Flower delivery to Velké Chvojno from a local florist

The municipality of Velké Chvojno was established in 1998, when six local parts separated from Libouchec following a referendum. Velké Chvojno has a primary school and a kindergarten. The municipality also has a GP surgery, a post office, a municipal library and a cultural centre.

The Church of St Martin in Velké Chvojno, built in 1713 and demolished in the 1970s, inspired Karel Kryl's song Anděl.
